[Added July 28, 2017]

NCMA’s Science and Technology Committee, Government Affairs Committee and Safety Committee, will meet jointly at 1 PM on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at the NCMA office for our annual session to develop an initial list of priority issues that deserve the focus of NCMA's efforts and resources during 2018.

If you are unable to attend the committee meeting in person or by phone, but have issues that you would like included on the initial list of priority issues please forward them BEFORE Aug. 17 by e-mail to Preston Howard <preston.howard@myNCMA.org> or Jim Kuszaj [jim@myNCMA.org].

All NCMA members and business partners are invited to participate in the Aug. 17 meeting. You do not need to be a member of any of the committees to participate or to submit an issue.

To develop the list of priority issues, NCMA members and business partners members are asked to list any issue of concern to their company in three major categories: Category 1: Legislative; Category 2: Regulatory; and Category 3: NCMA Organizational. Within each of these categories, members are asked to identify specific issues relating to energy, air quality, water quality, solid and hazardous waste, occupational safety and health, environmental management, tax, workers compensation, or any other areas.
