NCDEMLR Stormwater eDMR Goes Live January 2021 with First Phase

October 11, 2020

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Division of Energy, Mineral, & Land Resources (DEMLR), Stormwater Program has begun the process of moving Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) to an online Electronic Data Monitoring Reports (eDMR) system. This move will eliminate paper reports and bring National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permittees into compliance with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule.

Beginning next year, DEMLR's Stormwater Program will bring eDMR online for NPDES Stormwater Industrial permittees in three successive groups. Individual Permits will make up Group A and go live on January 1, 2021. General Permits in Groups B and C will go live July 1, 2021 and January 1, 2022, respectively.

Visit DEMLR's eDMR website for complete information  .
